Richard Seale is one of the most respected names in modern rum and the Master Distiller and Blender at Foursquare Rum Distillery in Barbados.

A fourth-generation rum producer, Richard is recognised globally for his commitment to traditional production methods, transparency, integrity and exceptional quality. Under his leadership, Foursquare has become one of the world’s most awarded and respected rum distilleries.

Richard has agreed to work on the 11 Parishes Cherry Rum expression, bringing exceptional Barbados provenance, liquid credibility and category authority to one of the brand’s most distinctive releases.

The Founders Reserve is the first rum ever to blend stocks from Foursquare, Mount Gay, Hopewell and St Nicholas Abbey, aged a minimum of eleven tropical years in ex-Bourbon, ex-Cognac and ex-Sherry casks, bottled in Barbados at 52% ABV.

One hundred bottles are reserved for founding members. The remaining 180 bottles will be gifted to selected high-end bars, future partners and key industry contacts, a showcase for the brand and the wider portfolio we are launching.
